SONRÍA WINS GOLD NUGGET AWARD OF MERIT
SAN FRANCISCO, CA – In front of a sellout crowd of about 1,200 building industry professionals, the Pacific Coast Builders' Conference recognized the Sonria community's Plan 3 with one of two Awards of Merit for Best Detached Home on a Compact Lot at the 41st Annual Gold Nugget Awards. |

Selected from among 12 nominees, the plan's exterior elevations hearken back to a Spanish Revival Style featuring simple lines and massing, barrel roof tiles holding tight to the rakes, thickened walls and recessed windows, traditional arches and warm earthen colors characteristic of a bygone era.
The efficient 1,450 square foot, three bedroom interior offers nine foot high ceilings on the first floor, large windows, abundant natural light, and fixtures and detailing which comport with the Spanish Revival theme.
Community Dynamics' President, Loren Bloch, noted that the recognition was particularly remarkable in light of Sonria's entry level specifications. "Sonria is a clear affirmation that excellence in design and execution can result in inspired product irrespective of pricing and spec levels."
